How many restrooms does a shutdown crew need?
A shutdown crew of 200 workers on a Washington construction-type project needs 11 toilets: 5 for the first 80 workers plus 6 more at 1 per 20. Facilities must sit within 200 feet of the work or on every third floor. Crews over 10 per unit need more than weekly service.
Rule: WAC 296-155-140 as amended July 1, 2025. General industry sites follow WAC 296-800 sanitation rules; confirm with your safety lead.
How is service scheduled around shifts?
Industrial service is scheduled around shift changes so pump trucks never block a crew line. Large turnarounds usually get service daily or every other day, done before the morning shift or during the midday break. Badging and site-safety orientation for drivers are set up before day one.

What site access details matter for industrial delivery?
Industrial delivery needs a gate contact, the truck route inside the fence, any escort rules, hours when trucks can enter, and the spots approved for units. Refinery and port sites near Cherry Point and March Point often require driver safety cards and badging ahead of time.
