We run porta potty rentals to ten King County cities, from Shoreline and Bothell down to Kent, Auburn and Federal Way. These cities sit 75 to 120 miles from our Bellingham yard, so next-business-day delivery is the standard. We do not serve Seattle proper.

Which King County towns do you deliver to?

Porta potties are delivered to every town and unincorporated community in King County that a truck can reach. The cities below have their own pages with ZIP codes, neighborhoods and local rules; the smaller communities are served on the same routes.

What does Public Health – Seattle & King County require for restrooms at food events?

Public Health – Seattle & King County allows portable toilets for food workers only when handwash sinks with hot water, soap and paper towels are also provided. King County food vendors must also wash hands at the booth, and temporary food permits are due at least 14 days before the King County event.

The county's temporary food guidelines call for a double handwash: once at the restroom and again at the booth. That rule changes what you order. A row of porta potties alone does not cover food workers.

  • Pair restrooms with a hand washing station or a deluxe flushing unit with sink.
  • Booth handwashing needs a 5-gallon or larger insulated gravity container with a spigot that locks open, plus a catch bucket.
  • Wastewater cannot go onto the ground or into storm drains.
  • Applications filed inside 14 days carry late fees, and 1–2 days out require an in-person visit.

How long does delivery take from Bellingham to King County cities?

King County cities are a long run from our Bellingham yard: about 78 miles to Shoreline, 92 to Bellevue and 110 to 120 to Kent, Auburn and Federal Way. King County delivery is next business day as standard. Booking two or more business days ahead gives you the best King County delivery window.

Same-day delivery in King County happens only when a truck is already headed south that morning. Call early if you are in a rush. Honest drive estimates in light traffic:

  • Shoreline and Bothell: about 75–78 miles, roughly 1 hour 20 minutes
  • Kirkland and Redmond: about 85–88 miles, roughly 1 hour 30 minutes
  • Bellevue: about 92 miles, roughly 1 hour 35 minutes
  • Sammamish and Renton: about 98–100 miles, roughly 1 hour 45 minutes
  • Kent, Federal Way and Auburn: about 110–120 miles, roughly 2 hours or more

Midday I-5 and I-405 traffic can add an hour. Our trucks with trailers cannot use the I-405 express toll lanes, so we plan routes around peak hours.

Do King County cities require a permit to put a porta potty on the street?

Each King County city runs its own right-of-way permit program, and the rules differ a lot. Kirkland's policy does not allow portable toilets in the right-of-way at all. Other King County cities, such as Bellevue, Redmond and Renton, require a right-of-way or street use permit for private use of streets and sidewalks.

The simplest fix in any King County city is to place the unit on private property: a driveway, yard or jobsite pad. If it must go in the street, check with the city first.

  • Kirkland: Policy G-10 lists portable toilets as not allowed in right-of-way.
  • Bellevue: Street Use Permit through MyBuildingPermit.
  • Redmond: Right-of-Way Use Permit from the Right-of-Way Division.
  • Renton: Right-of-Way Permit from Development Engineering, 1–2 business days for uses under 30 days.
  • Sammamish: Type A permits for dumpsters and PODs are due 8 weeks ahead.
  • Federal Way: apply at least two weeks before your start date.

How does Green River flooding affect King County rentals?

Green River flooding is a real risk for King County valley jobsites. The Desimone Levee failed on December 15, 2025, and King County issued Go Now evacuation orders for parts of Tukwila, Renton and Kent. King County renters in the valley should place units on high, paved ground during the rainy season.

King County offers free KC Flood Alerts by email, text or voicemail for seven major river systems. Sign up if your site is on the valley floor between Auburn and Tukwila.

  • At a Phase 3 alert near Auburn, roads like SE Green Valley Road and West Valley Road can be overtopped.
  • Tell us if your site is behind a levee. We can move or pull units ahead of a forecast.
  • Fall and winter atmospheric rivers bring the highest risk.

Long jobs run on our 28-day cycle with weekly service.

King County porta potty questions

Do you deliver porta potties inside Seattle city limits?

Seattle proper is outside our King County service. We cover ten listed cities: Shoreline, Bothell, Kirkland, Redmond, Bellevue, Sammamish, Renton, Kent, Auburn and Federal Way. Nearby unincorporated pockets like Fairwood or Cottage Lake can often ride the same route, so call to check.

Why is King County delivery next business day instead of same-day?

Our yard is in Bellingham, 75 to 120 miles north. Same-day happens only when a truck is already routed south that day. Booking two or more business days ahead gets you the best time window.

My food vendors need restrooms. What do I order for a King County event?

County rules allow portable toilets for food workers only with hot-water handwashing nearby. Pair standard units with a hand washing station or choose a deluxe flushing unit with a sink. Vendors still need their own handwash setup at each booth.

Can you pick up early if the Green River floods my site?

Call or text as soon as a flood alert is issued. We will try to move or remove units before water rises. Sites on the valley floor near Kent, Auburn and Renton are the most exposed.

Do King County construction rentals include weekly cleaning?

Every 28-day cycle includes weekly pump-out, wash-down, paper and sanitizer restock, and odor treatment. The rental renews until you call or text for pickup. The delivery and pickup charge shows up only on the first cycle.
